Senior Quality Assurance Manager [Metal Stamping]

We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Manager for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Based in Selangor
• Managing 30 headcounts

the role

• Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
  • Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and objectives to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.
  • Oversee supplier quality management, driving improvements and qualification processes for new and existing suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies to optimize processes and reduce defects.
  • Lead customer audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure prompt resolution of quality-related concerns.
  • Establish key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and drive a data-driven approach to monitor and improve overall quality metrics.
  • Manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and customer specifications.
  • Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and risk assessments (FMEA, 8D, CAPA).

the experience

• Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality role.
• Well-experience in metal stamping process or mechanical assembly process.
